leather-bound notebooks

Six leather-bound notebooks. Three lightly used, three untouched. Four lined, one sketch, one staff paper. Four Moleskine.

Found: On my bookshelf. Grouped with handful of spiral-bound and composition notebooks.

Made of: paper, leather, leather-looking plastic, nylon bookmarks, ink, memories, melodies, reminders, stories, packing lists, band-name brainstorms, pretentions, intentions, potential, self-abasement.

Uses: Writing. Reading. Signaling creativity. Collecting dust. Spurts of motivation/energy, rare.

Decision: Reclaim for daily use, from grocery lists to doodles. Don’t hold for creative brilliance.
